Hi 2013 Brides! Congrats on your upcoming weddings!

I am getting married at xcaret April 24 2013. I'm having my ceremony at the snail and my reception at La Isla. I decided not to get a wedding planner and try and sort things out myself. Graciela has been very helpful!

I am now looking for transportation to get my guests from the hotel (Now Jade) to xcaret and back again. Anyone have any sugesstions?

I'm also looking for a florist so I can sort out my flowers. Any suggestions?

Happy planning! If any of you have any questions just let me know!

Hello ladies!

My fiancee and I are just beginning the process of planning our wedding at Xcaret. We hope to find many helpful tips and referals through anyone who has already been in our spot. I am the groom to be, Aaron, and am trying to do some research on my own. I want this day to be heavenly for my beautiful fiancee, and I will do anything to make it that for her!

Now where to start...... I have NO idea! lol how do I even begin to arrange things at Xcaret. their website doesn't offer much, should I hire a wedding planner? if so where!?

HELP!!! This is very overwelming

Aaron

hows your spanish? My fi just found really low prices for transport from a well known company ((ie so we know they wont rip us off and they are in fact a real company)

buses are for 50 people and have air con, reclinable seats, and a WC

we were quoted 2700  pesos (200 dollars ish) for a trip sandos playacar to xcaret (ceremony) to blue venado (reception). i assume then back to sandos playacar but need to check it. we're investigating but its cheaper than any other quote by abour 300 dollars. which kind of makes me wonder why. but ill let you know!!

the company is  http://www.grupoado.com.mx/      and the guys email is [email protected]

Hi Aaron,

Xcaret is a beautiful location for a wedding. It is very over whleming but it's supposed to be worth it in the end. You should start by contacting xcaret and asking them for more information. You should also look into what hotel you and your guests will be staying at. You can then move on by hiring a wedding planner or figuring things out yourself. If you have any other questions let me know.

Hello!

This is my first post here but I thought I'd join in on the madness :) I am trying to book a 2014 date for my wedding in Xcaret. I have a wedding planner who has been quite helpful. I was quoted around 3 grand to rent the church (St. Francis of Assisi) in Xcaret for 2014. This price includes a trio band and a 1 hour cocktail service (apparently you have to get both according to my wedding planner). The wedding planner is also helping me find a florist. I emailed a few and found that maya floral has the best deals and I love their arrangements. They also said they would deliver and set up the flowers at the chapel and then deliver them back to my hotel so I can use them as a center piece around the tables in my banquet room!

The whole purpose of doing a destination wedding for me was the beautiful scenery and saving money! While vacationing in Mexico, my fiance and I said I love you for the first time so it has a special place in our hearts :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
