My cousins and a few friends have asked what im going to do since he is deceased and im not sure what to do....omit it or dance with my mother or i plan to have my nephew walk me down the aisle, do i dance with him?

Hmm I think maybe you should do your first dance with your Mom... but since you are having your nephew walk you down the aisle you should do a special dance with him too.

I'm doing my first dances at my AHR - in my head I have a great plan... will take some careful planning... I have to have a first dance with my Step Dad and my Dad... but what I'm planning includes my mom, step mom, and my FIs parents.

The only song I know I'm going to use is with my Dad - "Every time you go away"    He used to sing this to me any time it came on the radio when I was visiting him and had these stupid hand jesters to go with it HAHAH

I have NO idea what any of the other songs will be....    I can't even get my mind to think about these things hahahah

Question....are you sending invites for your AHR to the people that plan to attend your destination wedding? I just think booking a venue at home would defeat the purpose of not wanting to spend $30k on a wedding reception. Maybe I will have a summer bbq after the wedding since bbq's are pretty cost effective. I'm so cheap!!!! lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
