I have read a number of posts here regarding dissatisfactions about the management in different wedding locationsfrom many brides-to-be in this forum. I thought I would share the great experience I have with the management at Sunset da Mona Lisa and hopefully this will help others in choosing their wedding venue. I have looked at many venues prior to choosing Sunset da Mona Lisa and I can honestly say that one factor which played a huge role in our decision to go with Sunset is its outstanding management.

The sales manager, Emma, used to be a wedding coordinator at Palmilla and now works for Sunset. Right from the beginning she was very accomodating to me. She was very kind, listened to my needs, answered a lot of e-mails promptly. Since she used to be a wedding coordinator herself she knew a lot of vendors and recommended musicians, wedding coordinators, florists, officiant-- mostly the best in the business in Cabo. When I didn't have a WC yet, I would e-mail Emma and she would answer many of my questions which was really the job of a WC. Everything that we agreed upon was stated in a contract and she willingly revised it a few times so it would fit our needs. JUst to give you an example of how detailed our contract is, it even stated that the construction next door would stop during our wedding.

I know we are not married yet and I will be able to give a more thorough review of all our vendors after the wedding. But I am confident this early that we will have a beautiful wedding because we are in good hands with the management at Sunset da Mona Lisa.

Check out their website for beautiful pictures at Sunset da Mona Lisa :: Home Page :: Italian Seafood Restaurant with Arch view in Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico, Weddings, Events, Private Diners (former Da Giorgio).

That is so good to know. Thank you. Sunset is one of our top choices (without seeing it in person) and I'm hoping we can book it.
How many guests will you have? I can't wait to read your review and see pics after your wedding.
We leave in 5 days for our site visit!

Hi Amanda! I hope you can book it too! We only have a few guests (29 adults and 10 kids). We are booking the Salon which is the private room at Sunset da Mona Lisa. If you have a lot of guests I would suggest you do a buyout. And when you speak to Emma can you please say hello to her from me? She would remember a Jessica! THANK YOU in advance!

I thought I should update this thread on our experience with SML on our wedding night.
