Hi Emily!

 

This is the only other one I have until our photographer is done with the photos she took.  The "gazebo" is on the edge of the pool deck so I was worried about screaming kids/drunk people, but was in awe when they opened the doors for me to walk out and everyone had stopped and were taking pictures or videos!  Everyone was very respectful and I didn't hear a peep out of the strangers at the pool!  The floor is a wooden deck, but they put a carpet down, so you heels don't get stuck between the planks.  The white fabric looked beautiful blowing in the breeze.  It really was perfect!

Nina, we're having our reception inside in the ballroom and getting married in the chapel. I want to be comfortable and i'm sure everyone else does too. We are going to have a welcome party on the beach the Friday night, which incorporates the "beach party" but everyone will be more casual and I won't be in a wedding dress! This way we do get the beach incorporated in some way!

Hi Ladies,

 

I'm less than 4 months away from my wedding date and am finishing up the details.

Could you ladies help me with places to have my welcoming party, I honestly don't want a private affair or anything too fancy just somewhere convenient and accessible on the resort!

 

What are your suggestions?

Hi Ladies,

 

Congrats on your engagements! My wedding is less than 4 months away!!! we are going next week to do a site visit and finalize all the details with our coordinator. Any ideas on where i can have my welcome party... i don't want to pay extra and have a private affair just want something simple where everyone can meet up and have some drinks... any ideas?

We love, love La Parilla. It is in downtown Cancun. The atmosphere is great and the food is the best. Highly recommend the chicken and. Ole. They also have a a lunchtime buffet that is no typical buffet. I'm not sure what day it is but it's a Local favorite and any one there knows. It last all day too.

Hi girls, I did a welcome party for our entire group the night before the wedding. It was Friday night at 6pm and we all met at the lobby bar. Sunset grill has steak night on Friday nights and doesn't require reservations. They sat our entire party as they opened and it was perfect. 45 people had drinks & then dinner together to meet each other prior to our big day. It worked perfectly & was free!

I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
