Suggestions for OOT bags for Guest at Beaches T&C PLEASE HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hello ladies,

I am looking for some suggestions from ladies who have already had their wedding at Beaches T&C. I am wondering what items did you put in your OOT bags that were a hit and what items should we definitely avoid doing. So far I have hand sanitizer, tissues, first aid kits, and sunblock.

Please help!

Thank you,

I collecting items for my daughter wedding at Sandals Whitehouse in June. So far I have bought a boat canvas bags, beach  towels,  battery powered fans from Walmart for 75 cents and bubba mugs for 4 dollars at Walmart on clearance.   I thought about including flip flops on clearance from old Navy.  I am going to place an agenda for the wedding in the bag--thought about buying cork glass bottles with sand to place the agenda in. I hope that helps you.

I am collecting items for my daughter's wedding at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. My husband went 5 years ago for our 25th anniversary and it is beautiful.

I have bought a red and beige boat canvas bag on clearance fromhttp://ConventionTotes.com/ for 3.99 each. I have bought beach towels from website "Towels for less".  I bought on clearance from Walmart  battery fans for 75 cents and Bubba insulated mugs for 4.00. I am going to place a wedding agenda corked bottles.

Flip flops is one of the themes for our wedding and I have been toying with the idea of ordering them or waiting till Old Navy does their $1 flip flop weekend.  I do like the idea of towels, we don't have allot of people ( right now we are at 10). I have heard great things about the Sandals Whitehouse Resort, I met a couple of people who went there for their honeymoon when the resort first opened and they loved it.

The key card holders were a huge hit in our oot bags, as well as the koozies!  Not really sure if everyone used the personal care items I provided though, but I always saw our guests with our koozies and our key card holders.  And everyone loved their palm leaf bags, I still see some of guests using them now 6 months later!

Brandy, you are so helpful!!  I have read so many of your posts and have gotten wonderful ideas...thank you!!!  We are getting married in August at the Beaches in Turks and Caicos (a little risky do to weather but we are hoping for the best).  I havn't actually booked anything yet, I will be calling and discussing our options this Tuesday.  I was thinking with going with the basic wedding package (Beautiful Beginnings) for financial purposes but also want to make it as special and memorable as possible. What wedding theme did you guys go with? I was thinking of reaching out to Tropical Imaging but am not sure if I could afford it. Also, if you don't mind me asking...what village did you stay in, many people keep recommending the Italian as it is the newest, yet of course it is the most expensive. Any recommendations or suggestions would be welcome and appreciated!  Congratulations on your wedding, I am sure it was amazing!!
Love, Jaim

So glad my posts have been helpful!  We actually stayed in the caribbean village in the most basic room you can get and I have no complaints, the room was fine for sleeping and showering thats the only time we were in there!  I do hear though that there are a lot of kids in the italian village since it is newer and has the newer family suites, that might be something you also want to consider.  Tropical imaging was worth every penny!!!! If you have to scrap something out to fit them in your budget then do it :) they are so worth it, I would be willing to give up anything to have them as a photographer, if I had to do away with all the decorations and the cake and bouquet to afford them I would have, we went with the seaside serenade theme, check out my review on the resort its in my signature at the bottom of my posts.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
