I've finally settled on the Riviera Maya/Cancun area for our wedding. Now I'm just trying to settle on a resort. We're on a tight budget so I'm looking for someplace with good group benefits or someplace that offers a good complimentary/decently priced wedding package. Any suggestions? How did everyone else pick there resort? You guys are the best! Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum.   Currently AM Resorts (Dreams, NOW, Secrets) have a 3G promotion where you get free rooms if you do a group block (every 5 booked get 1 free) and Palace also has some great group perks like free receptions, nights, rooms, etc.   If you would like more information, please go here and we'll try to answer your questions: http://www.wrighttravelagency.com/leads/inquiry/

Palace resorts have great credits, but 80% of your guests must stay at the resort.  Any guests not staying must purchase a resort pass, which costs over $100.  I was married at Now Jade last week, and highly recommend them!  the resort credits aren't as good as the Palace group's, but Deisy (from the wedding department) bent over backwards for us, and created my dream wedding. It was also very simple, and exactly what I wanted.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
