Hi,
I have been a member for a while not but this is my first post-yay! I am finally getting down to business organizing and planning my destination wedding. We have picked Villa Caletas in North Puntarenas for our venue site and already reserved the Amphitheater, now I need to get that area decorated! The hotel quoted me on a few options and I am positive I can either DIY or find my own vendor for less since hotels tend to up-charge. Things I am looking for at a great price & dependable vendors include:
- Florist for: Bouquets, Petals, Arrangements, etc.
- Good Photographer (new or established business is fine with me, I will have a photographer as a guest but don't want him to work on vacation )
- Alcohol/Spirit Vendor
(For wine and beer before and after the ceremony, don't know if we are allowed to bring our own liquor to the site)
- Local attractions, venues, restaurants, things to do, etc.
- Shuttle, Taxi companies
At the moment these are all that come to mind, any hair salons in the area might be helpful as well for MOB, etc.
Anyone else who has had (or attended) a wedding here and might have any dos, don'ts and suggestions would be very helpful..
