I need your advice!

Recommended Posts

So...I'm looking into a destination wedding for November 2012, and am looking for many suggestions. I am really liking the looks of the Martha Stewart weddings, and am therefore seriously considering the Beaches Resort in Negril, Jamaica. I really like the Seaside Seranade option (although there are definitely some things I'd want to change). I know the initial cost, but am looking to find out what the cost for additional decorated tables are (I think there will be about 50 guests). Also, any other suggestions with these types of weddings are more than welcome!

Sandals/Beaches is really good about communicating information with their wedding packages etc.  You can also find a lot online just by googling.  I would definitely say the same as JayKay and tell you to email the resort, they will be your best source of information!!!!

Best of luck and happy planning!!!!

There is a forum thread on this site that will help tons too: destination weddings in caribbean and then there is a Sandals thread.  I am going with the beautiful beginnings - the resort does not allow outside vendors so they really stick it to you on the add-ons and photography but it is all inclusive and they do all the work for you so who can beat that.  When you make your reservation they will send you all sorts of stuff with options.  I have a "packet" with some options and prices - PM me your email and I will get it to you as soon as I can.  I also have some pics from my travel agent from her recent tour of both Beaches Sandy Bay and Beaches Negril.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
