This is gorgeous!!! I LOVE the Tiffany Blue and think it looks great with the pink and white roses. Very very pretty!!!  Do you mind me asking if they charge you a lot more to do this color? if so, how much did it cost extra?

I can't wait to see your other pictures!!

Thank you for posting the pictures. It really helps to see the actual color and setup. I am also thinking of a long table but wait to see how many people RSVP. I have put the decor on the back burner now.

I was really stressed out with the passport invitations. I wanted them out by end of July originally but we met with 4 local vendors and realized that they take 4-6 weeks. Then, I figured if we can send it by mid Aug. then it should be plenty of time still. I looked into a company in Canada but they were black on the cover and I want white. We were debating between the local person who has never done a passport invitation but can do the white and we will get a hard copy vs. the experienced person that will outsource for the white but no hard copy. Anyhow, finally decided on the local person and more stress cause it was not looking how I wanted it. It's finally coming together. My advice for all new brides, look into invitations right away so you have plenty of time.

Happy Planning Everyone!

Yes, you have to do what you guys want but know that at the end there will people that will not go and you guys can't be upset about it. Also, remember that only 20% of the guests can stay outside of Le Blanc. Our wedding is in Dec. & our RSVP date was end of Sept. and our guests still haven't send it in or there are guests that didn't tell us and booked somewhere else. You will get through it and budget paying for a close family that you want there. The people that you guys must have there you should ask now..if they are 100% in so there are no surprises later. Good luck an PM me if you have any other questions. Happy Planning!

I still have some time since our wedding isn't until next May but it is great to know that things went really well for you. Congratulations again!

I just wanted some of your opinions. I am starting to get nervous of how much money it is going to cost for our guests. I know that it is our decision to have a destination wedding and of course i know that not everyone is going to make it which I totally understand and honestly wanted a smaller wedding...but I have heard from some close family members of ours that they are not even going to be able to go to the wedding due to the cost.... Another reason is that my cousin got engaged literally the same week I did and is having her wedding in Rome a month after me. So a lot of my family is feeling really stressed I think which is totally understandable.

Did you find that any of your guests were upset about the money? I sent out our save the dates about a month ago so they would have a year to save. My fiance keeps telling me that it is what it is and this is what we wanted which is true. Did any of you feel bad about the money part? I guess I am just looking for some advice on how you may have handled it when a family member said they can't go or are going to look to stay at a diff hotel because this one is too expensive.

From the reviews I've seen, I notice that it is all worth it because of how great of a hotel it is and that is why I chose to go with LeBlanc. It was exactly what I wanted and didn't want to just pick another hotel that was cheaper and it not be as nice for our wedding.

Thanks!

Hi Le Blanc Brides,

My fiance is having a hard time finding a light tan color suit. Where did you your fiance/husband found a suit? Please we are looking to custom making at Nordstorms which is a little pricey. Any ideas or suggestions would help?

Thank you

Thank you so much for all the information. We are now in touch with Lily from the decor company & we are going to customize. Did you have white chairs with organza sashes for the ceremony?

Did you have sashes with the silver chairs? I knew the orchid centerpeice is silk. Is the 6 pots of white roses..also silk??

We are ok with doing both cocktail & reception in the same area but I wanted a little change of atmosphere. The other idea is to have cocktails on the terrace & reception by the gazebo. What do you think? Our ceremony is @ 2pm & 1hr cocktail, 4 hrs reception..so guests will enjoy the sunset @ 5pm in the terrace.

We def want lounge couches/ tables, tall table with light underneath for cocktail & keep them for reception too.

Did you serve white wine or champagne during the ceremony?

Lastly, do you remember who did your hair, makeup? Did you like it?

Anyway, I can see some of your photos please?

Thanks again for taking the time. I am soooo grateful.

Med2012,

You are also doing tiffany blue color. I can't believe your getting married on Fri. So excited for you. You are probably already there. I can't wait to hear about your wedding and hopefully see some pictures. I am thinking white chairs for ceremony, not sure if the sashes will look good in the photos with the wind. Then silver chair with Tiffany blue sashes. I don't know what to do about the table cloth, they only have Ivory for square tables. So, now I am thinking white table cloth & maybe blue runners. I just don't know if the sashes & table runners are the same shade. Originally, I wanted a champagne table cloth, a designed runner then blue napkins.

We are going to book Del Sol for 6hrs..maybe 7. As for the DJ, we are planning on using on site DJ but we haven't heard from them.

Thank you so much Matt. I haven't been on here in a while but I happened to be on Del Sol Blog and saw some of the pictures from this wedding. Pictures are fabulous as usual. We are so excited to have Del Sol be part of our day. I have to admit it's been a little stressful last couple of weeks but seems like everything is coming together except the centerpiece we want. I am trying to find out if we can deal with a florist directly..if anyone knows?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
