HI Ladies!  I just found this thread and I'm also a July bride.  I wish I had found this long ago. Unlike all of you I feel so far behind!  I am so busy that planning this wedding is really been too much with work and a baby.  I loved reading about each of you.  Congrats and I wish you all the best.

And as a side note- I did use  this company for my sand ceremony frame and he was really nice to work with. I'm not sure about the sparklers but I would be interested in knowing the answer to that.

We leave in 5 weeks... yaaaaayy!!!  I wish it was today, but I guess I'll have to be patient and wait 5 more weeks.  Many things feel like they are falling into place and others just seem like a waiting game for responses.  I know it will all work out in the end, I just wish I could get some firm answers on things.

How is everyone doing and any last minute stuff people are working on?

Ahh!  5 weeks that is so awesome!!!  I feel the same way it  is the waiting game for responses!  I am working on my photo booth, and props, and now trying to figure out how to sip it all!   Any idea ladies?  This thing is huge, but MUST come to Mexico!

Love it all!!!  You are going to have some fabulous pictures with your guests.  Maybe the UPS/FedEx store has large flat boxes that you could package everything in to ship.  I wish I could do things like this, but we have to take everything with us, and I don't think that would make it in our checked luggage... cheesy.gif

I feel the same way.  We leave 4 weeks from today, and I am so excited to be down there.  I feel like at times I have things under control, but there is just so much stuff and little details.  Yes, most of those details are self-imposed so I can't really complain too much... LOL

I am just worried that I am going to forget things at home and then be disappointed that I don't have something.  I know on the wedding day I won't care anymore.  I have so many checklists so that I hopefully don't forget anything.  There are just so many things going on, and the delay in getting vendors to return emails and answer questions is a challenge too.

I've feeling the exact same way!!  I was actually thinking of starting to pack stuff up right now.  I feel like there are things I'm thinking of brining right now, but I'll forget when it gets closer to the day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
