On one hand, I'm sure they all pat each others' backs and give each other business, which I don't love. She said she has no problem having them take the bouquets apart and redo them on the morning of if it's not what we envisioned, and knowing that they have that kind of working relationship makes me feel ok about going with her favorites.
Yup, my coordinator is saying after 18 years on the island, she had never heard of them and honestly I think it's just like you said, they all pat each other's backs there, it's a small community with a very niche wedding market. They all know each other and must strike deals. I asked her to get a quote for the flowers I am interested in to see what she comes back with but, I am thinking of doing what you're doing and just go along with the florist my coordinator suggested and is more comfortable working with. Incidentally, who is the florist your coordinator recommended? That's great that they matched the price of Flower Dell. I just hate the idea of overspending on flowers! I would rather put that money into our bar and food budget.
