Hi all!  

 

We are at the beginning stages of our wedding planning.  So we are looking at this site ALOT!  The one thing we have not found is how much it cost to secure The Cloisters.  Can anybody please direct us to the right place??

Ahh.. A future Bride of the Cloisters!! Love! :o)
Do you know what month/year you are wanting to get married?  The site fee for the Cloisters is 4500. I know how your feeling, the Cloisters was sooo hard to find info on. I got my TA from here (Wright Travel Agency, Barbara Vong aka Babs, she is absolutly Amazing and has given me a TON of info!)

Hello,

 

I realize these posts are from a while ago, but wondering if anyone is available for advice on a Paradise Island wedding. I am getting married at the Paradise Island Beach Club in May 2014.  We are staying at the Sunrise Beach Club and Villas.  I have the major parts of the wedding planned already, but I am stuck on some of the details. 

 

Hair and Make-up.  My wedding planner keeps suggesting that my Maid of Honor and I take a cab over to Atlantis and get our hair and makeup done at the spa there. I would much rather have someone come to our room and do it there.  I don't want to be rushing around on the wedding day.  Does anyone have a suggestion for a hair and makeup artist that will come to the room?

 

Also, we would like to do a welcome reception at the Sunrise Beach Clubs and Villas and I am looking for a caterer.  We booked a large villa and there is room for everyone (28 guests) on our patio and we thought it would be nice to do it there. Everyone is staying at Sunrise, so it will be convenient for everyone.   Does anyone know if they do bonfires on the beach at Sunrise.

 

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I can't help you with everything but I maybe I can help a little. I'm not getting married until June but I'm having Allison with http://sdlbahamas.com do my hair/makeup. I can't speak from personal experience yet but I've read many wonderful things on the boards about him and his work. My coordinator also highly recommends him. 

 

I'm having a reception elsewhere so I can't speak to a caterer recommendation, sorry.

Thank you so much for your reply!  I have been in touch with Allison. It makes me feel a lot better that your coordinator recommends him.  It makes me nervous planning without meeting all of these people.  You made me feel a lot better.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
