We are booked at the Mandalay Bay for our wedding ceremony on December 28, 2010.  We are not having a reception, but would like to head out somewhere for dinner later that evening.

We were thinking about the Strip House at Planet Hollywood, or one of the Mandalay Bay restaurants .  It would be nice to find a place with a private or semi-private area that could be reserved for a group of 10 people.

Does anyone have any feedback on good places to go?  We'd like to stay on the strip if possible, but are open to other ideas as well.

    Thank you,

Tao does have great food.  I'm not sure if they have a private room though, but they do have a second floor that is semi private

I live in Vegas and one of the best places to eat is at Lavo .They have really good Italian food.Kinda Pricey but well worth the money. I know they have a private room and there is a nightclub right above it. If you do end up going there, they have the best chicken parmigiana and 1 order could feed 2 people no problem. It is my favorite and it is soo good,I'm so picky about Italian food because I am Italian and it taste like my Great Grandma is in the kitchen.(lol) It is really good food. Also the garlic bread is to die for ,the first order is Free but the 2nd round(trust me you will want 2nds) is $6.00 and so defiantly worth it.

Let me know if you have any questions
