After the wedding?

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies,

I've been in and out of the forum since my wedding last year, but because most of the forum is dedicate to brides to be, I lurk elsewhere as well.  I have a quick question for you .

Just wondering if there is a locked or private section of the new BDW that is dedicated to former brides aka current wives?  I'm on to the next stage (nesting, ttc, etc) and would love to share info and thougts with other ladies in the same stage.  If it does exist and I just can't see it, can someone tell me what I would need to do to join or see it?

Many thanks!
Lindsay

hi lindsay! there are plenty of married ladies who still hang around, myself included (and i've been married a year and a half)! <-- haha maybe i should get a life? wink.gif

there are a lot of the threads geared toward the "already married," but they aren't locked or private. most of them can be found in the chit-chat section:

http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/list/50

the official shout box thread functions kinda like a chat-room and a lot of the ladies in there (probably the majority?) are already married. most of us had a void to fill once the wedding planning was over and done with, and wanted to keep in touch with the friends we'd made here in the process. many of us have met in real life or have added each other on facebook.

also in the chit-chat area of the forum, you'll find TTC/mommies-to-be/parenting threads, recipes, home decorating, pets, book clubs, venting about in-laws/marital issues ... you name it!

i hope you can find some threads that interest you now that you're a mrs! and good luck TTC!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
