Royal Playa Del Carmen DJ

Hi,

I'm in the middle of planning our reception for our wedding at the Royal (May 18th, 2011)- I am torn between using the Royal's DJ or hiring a Dj offsite- the prices seem pretty comparable...I want to go with someone who is going to be amazing!!! 

Does anyone have any advice on what to do regarding this situation?

I am getting married May 19th 2011 at the royal in PDC. I am using my ipod, but I have read on hear that the hotel dj was good I hope that helps!

Who did you end up using and how did it go?? I'm playing my wedding at the royal for May 11 2012. One of my very good friends is a dj and she said she could do the music... I just don't know how to get her equipment. Any insight would be great!

We are trying to decide what to do about music at The Royal Playa del Carmen.  We think $950 is a lot to pay for 3 hours of DJ service but want to have music and dancing.  The Ipod work out for you?  What area of the resort did you use for your reception?
