We are having a fall themed destination wedding in Daytona. We have a head table with 12, and 6 round tables with 6 - 8 people at each table. I have decided to name each table a different tree type. I am trying to come up with something cute to put out at the welcome table showing each person where their table / seat is. Does anyone have any cute ideas? My Mother has embroidered napkins with leaves and their names on them for each guest which we are using as our placecards...

Well, maybe something similar to a family tree, except without the heritage part. Just get the layout of a family tree with the tree branches and leaves. Each branch could list each table number or the different tree type and the leaves on the branch (fall colored leaves or even leaves to match the tree type) could have the names on them.
The guests could look for their name on the leaves and see their table number/tree type on the branches their leaf is attached to.
I've never seen anything like this or even heard of it being done, but I'd think it'd be a cute and unique idea to go with your theme.

what an awesome idea... I once read on BridePOP's wedding blog a story about someone who did something similar, with flowers. They chose a different flower for each table and set up the place cards in the shape of flowers. Anyways, this is too hard to explain, I wish I could find the link to that story. Maybe in your case, you could use actual leaves?
