"Reasonable" group rate (or other hotel recos)?

Recommended Posts

Hello all - I am new to the idea of an all-inclusive, but I absolutely love the idea of having all my guests in one place for a whole weekend.

What I'm struggling with is what a "good" group rate is ($$) - the current quote I'm getting from Dreams PV is ~$175 per person per night (double occupancy) for February-April.  This seems high to me - mostly because I'm thinking about my friends that are married - so for 2 people, that's $350 per night which seems like a lot.  But is it not?  What are you seeing?

Are there other hotels in PV (or Cabo) that you'd recommend that are cheaper but still as nice as Dreams PV?

Thank you!

Your rates seem pretty high, but I know rates change base on the time of year.

To give you an idea below are the rates for our October wedding at Dreams PV...

rates are per person which includes taxes and airport transfers.

-Deluxe Oceanview

 3 nights: $267 Per Person

 4 nights: $352 Per Person

 5 nights: $435 Per Person

 7 nights: $609 Per Person

-Preferred Tower Jr. Suite Club Room

 3 nights: $369 Per Person

 4 nights: $488 Per Person

 5 nights: $605 Per Person

 7 nights: $847 Per Person

(* Children are free for both Deluxe Rooms & Preferred Tower*)

Yea Jan. is more expensive....Also keep in mind we booked through our TA almost a year ago (9 months to be exact).... so prices could of changed.  When I was researching for the best price I basically looked for a TA that matched online companies like orbitz and expedia
