Hey, my wedding is on November 18th,, so that is reasaonable prices for photography.... right, i am so disallusioned that everything is so cheap... wrong!  hah,

My wedding is at 1pm, then the dinner starts at 6:30, dont know what to do with guests between?  I think we will have the toast and pics on the beach, then... i dont know... let everyone loose to go to the bars?  Confused.

Well, the photographers packages start around $800 but if you decide to go with another photographer you need to pay the $500 (which is only a FEE) plus the charges of the outside photographer.  Thus, it is cheaper to use Aldo!  His pics look awesome too so i am excited about it.

Are you dead set on having your wedding ceremony that early in the afternoon?  Honestly...I would suggest diong it later in the day if you can.  1pm is the hottest part of the day and that does leave a super long gap for your guests.  They would have to get ready (dresses, hair, makeup) for the ceremony and then they would likely not want to stay in their formal clothes all day in the heat so would go to the beach and or pool and then have to get ready for dinner again. Obviously this is just my opinon......  I am having my cermeony at 4pm, then I am renting the pool bar from 730 to 830 where we will do cocktails, first dance, etc. and then dinner is at 845pm.    Technically yes though...you could just set your guests loose in between:)  It is your special day and you are the boss, lol.

Hello &  welcome4.gif  You will find tons of info on here and lots of helpful advice.  Look under the forum's tab for RIU and under the resorts and Villia's...   I am sure will will find someone who has had all the same thoughts as you... But good luck & happy planning.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
