I'll be at Dreams Riviera in November. I am now so excited since all of your posts are so positive!! I am figuring I am doing most of my arrangement when I get there,right? I am still wondering which route to take with the DJ/music. Is it far from the airport? I have a lot of questions(I'm sure just bride nerves)but I'm very new to this forum and unsure if my messages are even posting!!!

Congrats on having the perfect wedding!

Mine is coming up at Dreams Riviera Cancun January 2011. Ana is my wedding coordinator, and I am definately a little nervous. None of my emails were answered till my travel agent called to secure the date. I want it to be simple, but of course, every bride has certain things she envisions on her big day, and I'm just a little nervous to do it all through e-mail and from so far away! I also hear you dont really finalize the details till a month or 2 before. ahh! I'm really excited about the resort though, i think it'll be beautiful. Can you maybe respond and tell me what it was like in the last month or so before your big day, did you e-mail, did she ask your preferences on stuff, or did you take care of it all when you arrived at the resort?

I'd appreciate it!!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
