we leave for our wedding in playa del carmen in about 3 weeks. we were there last spring and love it! i'm wondering, for those of you who have recently visited PDC, what are some for your favorite restaurants/beaches/cenotes/etc?
    thanks!

There is a great little ice cream shop right across from John Gray's restaurant. All flavors are homemade and their banana ice cream is awesome! Better option that, say, Haagen Dazs which you can get at home!

Cenote Cristalino, I'm not quite sure where it is exactly, we were recommended by a couple at the hotel who tried the day before. Took a cab straight from the hotel. About 20-30 mins. Not much in terms of fish, but beautiful "jungle" surrounding. Not many tourists.

If you haven't gone already, dancing at the Blue Parrot (5th Ave) & drinks at Alux cave bar/restaurant (short cab ride from 5th Ave) - not great food or drinks particularily, but kinda neat being underground in a cave having a drink =P

Coba was interesting too. amazing view from the top.

        Have a Happy Wedding!

Cenote Azul-- from Playa del Carmen it would be like a 15min cab ride, should be on your right-- not far past barcelo maya resort. GORGEOUS cenote. small, and rather unknown. it was recomended to us by locals. only $6 pp. when you get into the water little fish swarmright to you, felt like they were kissing my toes- so weird. but well worth the expreience!

Any feedback on XEL HA, or do they have zip lining anywhere?

                      I really loved Xel Ha!!!!
They have the zip line, biking, lazy river, snorkeling, cliff jumping (had to push my FH because he was a chicken!) and some great restaurants.
We chose to pair it up with Tulum since they are close to eachother...you can spend a whole day at Xel Ha, but dont really need to.
