I have a short angled bob also. I went to Sally Beauty Supply and bought some hair wefts and made my own clip in extensions for less then $50. It gave me the chance to wear and play with them to see if I would like it. They look really good and I'm really happy with them, but then again I feel more ME with my short hair. I totally recommend making your own (because they are much cheaper that way) and see how you feel with them. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do on the big day, but the extensions do give you a lot more options!

Paul's Girl that hair style is SUPER CUTE! Love it! Did you take any more pictures of it?

Hi girls,

Here is my two cents on short hair and getting married. The first time I got married (yes this is round 2 for me) I had short hair and I totally stressed about growing it or getting extensions or whatever (i had a short bob) and would my fiance like it better if it was long. But in the end I realized that I was more me with my short hair. If I grew it I'd just wind up cutting it off anyway and if I got extensions I'd just feel like an imposter.

This time around I have even shorter hair ( a pixie) and I'm not even thinking about changing it. Short hair is who I am and I look damn good in it!

We are lucky enough to be able to have short hair and look HOT so why change? In the end you need to do what makes you happy and what makes you comfortable. But I wouldn't let that image of the bride with long flowing locks or an upswept do change the beautiful person you will be on your wedding day regardless of what it on your head.

thanks for this!

it is nice knowing i won't be the only pixie bride out there! i have debated keeping my hair long (as it was long for most of my life), but i just feel so much cuter with my pixie cut - even if that means it won't be traditionally bride-y.

I still use my hair extensions, they are real hair so you can style and wash like your own hair. They were just clip in so I could take them out when I wanted. They are definitely strong enough to last in your hair for the day without worrying. I would have been fine with my short hair but I have super frizzy hair in humidity and I was super worried about looking ridiculous so I wanted all my "real" hair pulled back and hair-sprayed and then style the extensions. I'm sure whatever you decide will look beautiful!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
