So happy about that cause I wanted to get my brochure, luggage tags, can't wait to see you small magnets and calender magnets out to my guest before the end of January. A few more off that HUGE list of to do's!

I have my grandmother and a gilfriend in Tampa Florida that are coming but with shoes I would rather try them on. If I don't find anything local I will just have to chance it!

Door hangers!! Awesome!! How did you design those?

I used the rack cards, left enough room for the circle to be cut out and put my logo on the bottom and in the middle wrote " No Molestar Por Favor, Please do not disturb" "Unless you have a yummy beverage in hand!" on one side and on the other side our logo at the bottom and in the middle I wrote " Come find us! We are out and about enjoying paradise!" I just used a white background and added color to the front with the letters and the logo, on the back I kept it in grayscale to save some money! I will post pics of everything when I get it in 14 days or so.

I don't know where either are, but either way.... HAVE FUN!!!  Christmas Tree Shop is wonderful!  I went the other day and found some stuff, but not exactly what I want.

Brandy - I think my MOH and BMs are going to order the orange ones as well...looks like all four of us are going to have the same sandals!!

Brandy those sandals are adorable!!  I've been searching for some wedge flip-flops for our wedding on the beach since I'm wearing the same dress at our AHR and don't want to drag it in the sand.  One thing I must have for my AHR is my purple shoes!!  I've narrowed it down to these thus far:

I realllllly want these, but FI is only 4 inches taller than me, and these are 4.5 inches:(

On a funny note though, I put in "purple pumps" into the Amazon.com search bar.....and a purple p*nis pump showed up in the results!  LOL!!  Seriously.

I found these shoes on a photog's blog and can't find them for the life of me.  Anyone have any ideas?  I love these!!

I did manage to hire a wedding coordinator that I'm super pumped about.  She was very quick to respond to my voicemail and it's SO NICE to be able to call her directly.  The hotel we're staying at in Maui's basic "elopment" package is $3900 for the 2 of us!  That's only an officiant, my bouquet/lei and his bout/lei, a coordinator, and a location!  I think not.  Plus, we wouldn't have been able to marry on the beach with that package b/c the hotel doesn't carry the permit required by the state of Hawaii for beach weddings.  We're not going to Maui to get married in a garden gazeboblink.gif!

    • I have stayed at Dreams La Romana and Dreams Dominicus.  The two resorts are very different in style and decor. A few comparison points are below and fact sheets are attached for both.   Both resorts are approx 45 minutes from Punta Cana airport, close proximity to Saona Island, Catalina Island and Altos de Chavon. Top championship golf courses in the Caribbean are just minutes away including Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore, The Links and La Estancia – all designed by world-famous Pete Dye. Restaurants are similar at both resorts.  Both offer the Explorers Club for Kids.  Dreams Dominicus  Brand new resort and in 2016 488 rooms (however additional construction was underway) More contemporary style & decor Good beach area Rooms were very nice Preferred Club located in main lobby and adjacent to main pool & beach front Food was good Center plaza area with nighttime entertainment Main lobby is small, but outdoor bar off lobby is nice Dreams La Romana Originally built in 2003 & opened as Dreams La Romana in 2008 756 rooms Recently renovated and new preferred club adults only lounge & pool added  Rooms are more traditional Caribbean decor Grounds are very lush and tropical Good beach area food was good    Dreams Dominicus fact sheet.pdf Dreams La Romana fact sheet.pdf
    • My sister has done it but with the destination wedding, only super close family members and friends came since it was expensive and farther. It was great though.
