Well i dont know if this was for me lol but I have been dealing with Natalie Green ...she is the W/C manager like I said she has been fantastic to me

 

And yeah, we are doing the private reception in the Blue Lagoon. Have you picked your wedding package yet?

I think i am going to do the waves of love package with private reception at blue lagoon as well. I inquired about the use of speakers and ipod dock for the reception, but she has not responded yet. have you picked a package? I'm not using the hotel photographer i know that. I'm either bartering the trip for photos with a photographer up here in NJ, or using one down there that was recommended to me.  i also didn't know if we were responsible for decorating the reception. what information did you receive?

As far as the Ipod thing goes there is a 200.00 cgarge for the reception, but no cost for the ceremony...I have a DJ that is based in Montego Bay that i think were going to use. Hes good and a great cost. As far as the photographer goes,,, were not going with the resort one either..i personally didnt like her llol! AGAIN, i HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER IN MONTEGO BAY if you dont want the extra charge of flying them down + the price of the package + the vendor fee and again she is really good to work with..and really friendly.

 

If you do the private reception, you can decorate your own space.. or they can do it with your decorations for a fee of 200.00 (THATS WITH YOUR DECORATIONS) but if you do a semi private reception with other resort guests you are not allowed...nor can you do music (ETC)

hello. thank you for responding. she quoted me a price of 300 for the speakers for the reception. my friend has a BOSE sound system that i think we are going to bring. $200 for decorations?! thats crazy. im still talking to a photgrapher up here, it still would be cheaper than what some of the other photographers have quoted me. wow they really get you with the details. we havent really gone over details with the wedding coordinator. have you spoken with them on the phone ? my travel agent is still trying to get them to respond to her as well.

yeah ive called her a ton lol well ive got the e-mail saying 200.00 so ive kept it and bringing them all down with me when we go there...i dont want to get over charged!!!

 

the 200.00 is if you want them to set up your decorations, im getting my mom and friends to do it for me lol me and my FI are going to look into the sound system stuff and see if we cant save some money...but im also looking at a DJ too ogggg the music part is the only thing im having a hard time with lol

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
