We are hoping to charter a catamaran the night before our wedding. Any suggestions on how I can add this to my invitations? I would need to add something to the RSVP card and to the Information sheet. Just curious if anyone has done anything similar. I know it is common to schedule group outings and brunch's etc... How did you let your guests know the plans?

Good Luck!
Thanks. I would do this for most things but I would like to get a head count prior to the trip so that I make sure there are enough peoiple who want to go or so that I can reserve a bigger catamaran if needed.

Ive seen events on invites before! not tooo detailed tho. just like, welcome cruise wedding date then reception or whatever.

Ive seen also invites with rsvps for the wedding then a sub rsvp for the excursion

sorta like this

___ Si! Save me a beach chair!

---->> ___ will join you on a catamaran! ( i tabbed that so it looked like it went with it but it wont show when i post but u get the idea

___ No, but will be toasting from afar

I randomly threw those sayings in there lol.

Thank you! This is what I plan to do also. I will include info on our website (assuming people will go onto it) however, I want enough info included with our info in case they do not want to go onto the website ( you know...those older folks, ha!) Are you adding information that the cruise will be paid for? I don't want anyone to hesitate to mark off the box because they don't know how much it will cost them. Also, I want to know how many are planning on going. Something like this? It doesn't sound right. I have such a hard time with the wording.

___ Si! Save me a beach chair!

---->> ___ Number joining us for a sunset sail.

We're having a sunset sail as our welcome gathering and I included the event information in our invitation. I did pocketfolds, so I made one of the inserts all about the "welcome sail" and also included a line for it on the RSVP. I too wanted a headcount before hand. Here's the link to the post about the my pocketfolds where you can see what it looked like.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
