New Beach----great space for decor and lounge

Well I just wanted to let everyone know that the beach recovery project in Cancun is almost finished....some hotels have now a beach space they have never had in 20 years!! This is great news because events can now be done right on the beach again...a unique setting.

Recognized around the world for their unique beauty, the beaches of Cancun have almost terminated a fantastic recovery project whose results are already visibly astounding... Cancun tourists and locals couldn't be happier!

 

The project commenced on September 4th, 2009 delivering more than two thousand tons of pipeline material to destination and more than 1.3 billion gallons (6.1 million cubic meters) of sand to replenish all of Cancun's Hotel Zone seashore. With a investment of $71 millions dollars, sponsored by the state and federal government, local municipalities and private investors, the project will create a spectacular beach oasis of more than 131 feet (40 meters) in width between Punta Cancun and Punta Nizuc.

 

The project is expected to be completed early February 2010 and then will be moving south to the Playacar area of Playa Del Carmen and eventually over to specific beaches on Isla Cozumel in the near future.
