    Hi all,
So far I am planning on getting married at Ibersostar, but due to some family issues I am contemplating just doing the ceremonial part in Mexico with just my fiance, and am just looking around. Does anyone know any resorts that do private- just for the couple- ceremonies?
    Thanks!

Any resort will hold a private ceremony for just the two of you. The trick is to negotiate a price that includes only what you want it to.

oh ok thank you. I couldn't find any "packages" so I wasn't sure, so I'll just invididually ask some different resorts. Thank you

I never looked into that resort, but I know that most do a complimentary wedding based on how many nights you book. You can add on "options" if you like. I think the intimate weddings are totally romantic. I'm sure the on-site photographers can take some fantastic photos of the two of you as well. Happy planning!

Yes, they all do private ceremonies (eloping) if they have an onsite WC. Just inquire.

Thanks guys. I had no idea!
I went ahead and emailed iberostar and a few others about it, and will see what they say.
Pretty much if we did it the only thing we really want would be great pictures, and a nice private dinner or something to that effect, with a small cake.
Ive been planning the whole wedding down there, and so far that is still the case, but this may work out better for us, although it's different than I had planned.
We would probably do the legal ceremony at our house where family can attend and it would be pretty low key, just family and close friends, and then I could still get my beach wedding I want with just the two of us

                  Hi there,
Any luck finding more information about "elopement" rates? I think that's what we'll end up doing too.
                  Thanks!

The El Dorado's have a free wedding package that include some nice touches for the bride & groom
