Our main concern was not being in a wedding line up! If we're having a "special" destination wedding.. we wanted it to be special! When we found out Iberostar Grand Rose Hall *and the suites and beach* have the 1 wedding a day, we jumped on it! At first we just wanted it to be the 2 of us... however, we now have friends who say they're wanting to go so now we're inviting people! No children, so the Grand was still the pick for us :) Also, if the Grand is too expensive for some of our guests, they can opt to stay at the suites or beach and just buy day passes!

I also FELL IN LOVE with Negirl and it's amazing beaches/cliffs and sunsets! However, one of our first things we decided was that we wanted an adults only and an all inclusive resort. We wanted it to be simple to figure out how much it will cost for our guests and an all inclusive makes that simple! After doing more research on ALL the AO/AI in Jamaica I learned that MOST of the AO/AI cater to couples. Yes, most did allow singles, however most had rooms with only a king bed as an option. Knowing that some of our "single" friends would want to share a room, but not a bed!, our choices were narrowed a lot for us! We ended up choosing Secrets Wild Orchid & St. James, even before they opened!, because it was the best fit for our top priorities. Like others, I made lists and compared and eliminated. I also decided, rather sadly because I was still hooked on Negirl, that I didn't want to subject my guests to another 1+ hour trip by bus after getting off a plane! Secrets is in Montego Bay, but set far enough from the airport that there is minimal to no air traffic noise!

Best of luck. As others have said...it is the most difficult part!
