Help I need a good deal for Moon Palace Rates

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if you considered this but I believe there is a free shuttle between the Palace resorts (I stayed at Sun Palace which is adults only). They should take your guests to Moon Palace and the all-inclusive applies at ALL the resorts, so if you pay to be an all-inclusive guest at Sun Palace or another Palace resort then you can go to Moon Palace and eat at their restaurants, hang by the pool, basically act like you're a guest there as well until you have to go back and sleep at your own hotel :) Just a thought for people who don't want to pay Moon Palace rates. Moon Palace is also a little ways (10-15 min drive?) away from the rest of the hotels and shopping, etc.

Work with a Travel Agent and have them pull the rates for you every week or two. I am getting married there in 3 months (I've been there before already and its worth it!!) she has gotten some great deals for my guests. DON'T book through palace they rob you blind-- have the travel agent negotiate the free palace passport for you too.

Yeah, I looked at that. I guess my whole delemia is that my guests aren't keen on spending 143-200 a person per night. I am still trying to be hopeful since its still early.

:) They can answer all of your questions. You might have to wait until the end of the year.

Good luck!
Thanks SnoopAsh, I'll try that.

For the most part it was like 143-200 dollars per person per night.

Wow! Thanks for the advise. I will do that too. But when is a good cut off time? Like for how long were you checking rates week by week. and how did you work that out with your guest? Did they just continue to save until you gave the information or were they putting it in a account through the TA until you finalized there rates?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
