Hello! Cancun or PV Wedding

Hi! I too am trying to decide between Cancun and PV, but I'm also considering Cabo! Phew, that's a lot of choices!

 

Have you been to both Cancun and PV? I have been to the Cancun area several times, and PV once for my Dad's wedding about 12 years ago. From what I remember, PV was breathtaking! I loved the mountains and scenery there. To me, Cancun is more of a touristy area and reminds me a lot of the States. It all depends on where the hotel is situated tho. For instance, I am considering Dreams Cancun which (from what I hear) is located away from the hustle and bustle of the Downtown/Hotel Zone, on a beautiful area that juts out and is surrounded on 3 sides by the ocean!

 

You might also check out weather patterns to help narrow it down.

Welcome! we are getting married at dreams cancun, but we've never been to cancun so I'm no help either. But Anny (and for some reason I can't remember her username) I think is having her ceremony there and if I'm right she posted some pictures of the resort as well. She's having her reception some place else.

Felicidades and welcome to the forum!! I've never been to the Cancun Marriott, but I have been to the PV Marriott and I love the girls who coordinate there and they have a nice point that goes out into the ocean - Or the beach is pretty too .
