Thank you.

because we didn't do any kind of group booking, we all just booked individuallly, we aren't entitled to the free events, but im going to try and get them, once i have everyone's booking details.

i might actually leave that job to one of the ushers, he's like king of the barter people! haha!

thanks for the advice!

Expedia usually breaks it down per person. The total for 5 nights for 2 adults with just hotel is around $1600 (on Expedia) and air fare has been around $300-400 per person so if you add $1600 plus airfare it comes out to $1100-1200 per person. I think some of the girls on here are quoting per night (which is for two adults and not just one person) and not per person. Also some of the girls on here are from Canada and even Europe and prices may be a little higher for airfare etc. so when you add airfare and divide by number of nights that's how they get larger numbers. For me we pay $338/night (for two people) which is only $169 per person per night but they have to purchase airfare separately. Hope this helps :) Also you have to be careful with some 3rd party vendor travel sites because sometimes even though you put 3 or 4 people for the trip itinerary, they're charging you for all flights BUT for only two people for the hotel and you may have to pay for the extra people (over two) when you check-in. So what may seem like a great deal on some websites really is not.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
