i think something functional is always the best way!!! i think almonds and sweets are popular, but in the end its gone!! but i'm also NOT a fan of those souvenirs that end up collecting dust, like figurines and stuff...

I completely agree.  I haven't decided if I'm going to do favors or just skip them and do nice OOT bags.

Thank you.  I'm so back and forth on it.  Some days I love, others I wish I had gotten something else.  It should be in by January so hopefully I love it on me.

Have you picked out your dress yet?

yeah, I picked out my dress...i actually got it off the rack- something I thought i would NEVER do!!! But I went to Demetrios and tried on a dress by suggestion from the consultant...and I loved it!!! it ended up being discontinued just jnust just recently...and so I had to buy it right then and there or I would lose it!! sad.gif  So I got lucky because it was significantly cheaper.

They are actually based in the States. However, they have done quite a few weddings at moon palace. They also include in their package a "honeymoon photoshoot" that can be either done the day before or after your wedding. They are a husband and wife photography group so the husband will follow the guys and the wife will follow the ladies prior to the wedding. Another addition is that since vendors are required to stay on site...they will give you a discount on price. They took $500.00 off of my package since I had to pay for a room. Below are some moon palace weddings done by Tammsphotos.

I love the dresses by Demetrios.  I was torn between one from there and another one.

I have my fingers crossed for you that it will work out.  The weather report for my wedding said rain all day and I didn't see one cloud in the sky.

Look at it this way, if rain on your wedding day is good luck, you are going to have the best marriage ever.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
