thanx for the helpful info about the photographs and how they come on a CD. I dont know why I didnt realize this. I sort of still dont understand it because if Adventure photos isnt actually printing the pics why dont they just burn all of the pictures they took onto a CD for us? Why even make us choose which photos when they are just going onto a CD? They already put them on the computer for us to choose from, so it actually would cost them NOTHING to put them all on a CD. lol i dont know this is just a silly thing to me... then from there we could choose what to get printed and so forth.

Make sure you post your highlight video when you get it!!  It took Mike like a month to send me mine!  I was so impatient and didn't have it for my at home reception which was such a bummer... but it was awesome so it worked out!

He also sent me a blue ray and 3 dvds and the external hard drive with the footage, which I still have yet to get working on my Mac.  But it is very awesome to have!

Hey ladies,

We are looking in to having our wedding at dreams or moon palace with around 100 people. My biggest problem is I can't get any info for that many people... we want a beach wedding and want to have a reception (dinner all together even at one of their restaurants) as well. I am hearing that there is an extra cost for the reception including a per plate price. Does anyone know if that was true, all inclusive doesn't include that type of deal? Secondly, most of these wedding packages include amenities for 20 guests etc, is there extra charges for chairs/ set up if you have 100 plus?

Thanks

Kimberly

I totally agree with you.  I had this conversation with Anel about getting all the pictures on a CD for a flat fee.  She told me it's $15 additional per digital photo not in the package.  If i get all the pictures they can possibly work out a deal.  She said it is cheaper for them to print it, which is hard to believe.  Basically in my opinion we are paying for the copyright to print the pictures on our own, that's what the charge is for.  I took pictures of my newborn over a year ago and they told me this, so I figured all photographers use the same reasoning.

Good job! :smile36: I still have to reserve the DJ...Which DJ are you going with? Also, which package did you decide on? Emmy
I emailed Mauricio so I'm not sure if its him or somebody that works w him? But he's who I was in contact with. We chose the ultimate package.

Hey Savs, I was just looking through your pictures again!  Can you tell me if the resort provided the card holders you used on your tables, like the one in this picture, holding the "reserved sign":

700

We were going to do frames for a few things like this, but I feel like we're bringing so much stuff with us at this point that I will probably just print the signs off and use the holders, if possible.  Did you print your cards yourself?  Are they 5 x 7"?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
