Who knows spanish songs?

Recommended Posts

So Cain and I danced one song at our wedding, (they had an in house Jazz duo) and for the life of me I have NO Clue what song they playes. I asked Maye, knowing it would be a long shot, and all she said was "I know is a bolero and is very romantic" No one else knows the song either.

We are trying to add the song to our video.. Does anyone by some wild chance have a clue what this song my be. (Yeah I know I'll probably never know)

Okay you never know we may be able to figure it out. You say it was a jazz duo? Did the music sound jazzy to you? Or did it just sound like romantic slow dancing music? Was it very slow or did it have some upbeat parts? Was it a man or woman singing it? (I realize the duo can sing a song that either a male of female normally sing but its worth a shot).

I guess if Maye says its a bolero we can try to come up with names of boleros. Geez every bolero is spanish is very romantic. Was Juan there? Do you think Juan will know the name? Try asking him. What about the Sheraton wedding coordinator was she there? Marty doesn't know the name of the song?

How about "Besame" do you know that song? Try downloading it. I think Andrea Bocelli sings a modern version of it. Also try downloading "Somos Novios".

Nope Juan already left. It was definitly a slow song no upbeat tones to it. The duo were males.. Marty has no idea what the name is, Missy said one of the words is also in a santana song.. I remember the song being VERY long because Cain and I said it must be the longest song ever.. Course maybe they played it longer cause they seen us dancing..

Hmmm....okay so one of the words from the song you danced to is also said in a santana song? Does that mean one of the words from the chorus is in the name of a santana song, or just that one of the words from the bolero is also sung in part of a santana song.

Oye como va? Evil ways? Darnit why can't I think of more Santana songs?

When I go home tonight I am going to ask my parents about boleros. Maybe Anny will know.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
