Has anyone heard from Yahimara lately? I'm assuming she's very busy since there are many weddings going on right now and I'm used to e-mails taking forever to come from Cuba but it has been 3 weeks and I have not heard a response.

Salamander it is taking longer than normal for her to get back to me as well. She must be super busy. Hopefully we hear from her soon though.

 

Question for any brides that have scanned and emailed the wedding documents to her already....in the package there is a place for the interpreters info. Is that Yahimara or do we fill it out?

Leave the interpreters information for Yahimara to fill in (at least I did! LOL)

 

It is definitely taking Yahimara forever to respond, if at all. I've been emailing for a few weeks and am hoping for a response before I fly there on May 1st!! (WHOO 5 DAYS!!).

Hello

 

I received an email from her on Friday. She apologized for taking so long to get back to me. She said she is really busy now. She had 26 weddings so far for April already. WOW!!!

 

Congrat's Paulsgirl. Can't wait to see your pics. and get a little more info about the resort/weddings.

Thanks Lisa! That's what we did so I'm glad we're not the only ones LOL. Congrats on the upcoming big day! Wishing you an amazing day and week, and can't wait to hear all about it (and see pics of course ;-) Are you bringing down any centerpieces? I leave in two weeks, and have some I could bring but am on the fence because we have sooo much luggage already with our OOT bags.

Is anyone planning to get married at ILA in September? I am looking for a photographer. I can't seem to find out any information for one at the resort. Also if there is one, does anyone want to share and split the costs??

We're not bringing ANY decorations with us. We have THREE suitcases that have our OOT bags, contents and my wedding bouquets in them. That's more luggage than I even wanted to bring. Add to that suitcases for clothes, carry ons and my dress garmet bag....I'm scared! LOL

 

I'm excited for the big day, but nervous that Yahimara still has not emailed me back. I know she's busy, but geesh, we leave in 4 days! LOL

I have a zillion things to tackle at work today but i just wanted to quickly let you girls know we picked the best resort ever to get married!! Yahimara was a sweetheart, the wedding was perfect, the resort itself is AMAZING and I am so sad to be home!

 

Our photographer sent a few teaser pics, which I have attached! Full review with tips to come!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
