My nephew is mad I didn't chose Beaches b/c isn't that the one with the huge waterslide?
I am not certain, but I beleive it is. We chose it for the children (we both have neices and nephews that NEED to be there, and they are under 4!). And I have no doubt that when the time comes, it will be fine. It is just frustrating to try to get answers and they have none!

I need to resolve to stop comparing Beaches to Riu! Cuz i can't change anything now. It would have been cool to knwo someone who was getting married at the same resort and the same day though

My Question: Are outside florists allowed in or do we need to use Tai Flora? Her Answer: You can have an outside florist.

I have 5 nephews under the age of 7, so I was definitely looking for somewhere kids could go. Beaches was my first choice b/c of the kids' activities, but our TA talked us into the RIU.

It definitely would have been cool to get married at the same resort the day before you. But we'll have fun instead planning together!

Every Blooming Thing wrote me back:

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I would be thrilled to assist with your wedding but would need to know what setting you want. What are your preffered flowers, how many person you are expecting. What church are you considering. These are important information needed in order to give a quotation.

Thanks for thinking of us.

Regards,

That is great that we can use outside florists for our wedding day. Do you think that we can have someone bake our cake from the outside as well? I am going to send Chandlyn a email about this.

I am also excited that we can possibly hire a photographer from the outside. The photographer from Negril seems really good. I am going to look into maybe hiring him.

You guys are wonderful.

I don't know what I would do without this forum.

Thanks again Ladies!!!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
