Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Brides??

Recommended Posts

The hotel was fine with us having the Euphoria package, actually the girls there are wonderful.  You will get a package closer to the date that outlines exactly what is extra or included with you package.

We paid for:

Corsages for the ladies, my mom, my grandma and step mom

The Mexican Trio that we had for the ceremony

The boquets for the bridesmaids

The flowers on the gazebo are extra altho we got them included because they mis quoted us.

We paid to have the italian restaurant to ourselves from 6-10pm

The photos were included I think 24 if you wanted extras you had to pay, we brought in our own photographer and managed to get away without paying the penalty fee.

The spa is very good I had both my hair and make-up done there and it was fantastic.  Very time consuming tho.

The package they send you closer to the date is very informative as are the wedding coordinators. It doesn't feel like it but it all comes together in the end and it will be a wonderful day.  The one thing that is really great is they are very concerned witih keeping people away from the site of the wedding so there were no noticeable watchers.

First congratulation for your wedding!!! You looked fabulous!!!!

I'm in negociation and maybe you could help my with some informations.....My big concern is the wedding package!!

I think you choose the Air transat wedding package too....how hotel was with that considering that those are a lot less expensive than hotel pack??? Do they try to charge you on everything about decoration and flowers or do they tell you that things are not included all the time?

We are planning for the Bliss because extra thing in the Euphoria like room for groom and spa for me are not really important for us....

How long they let you have the restaurant for the reception?

Is hotel charge your for having your photograh even if you bought a wedding pack including photo?

If you have any interesting informations or pics for me I will be very happy!

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm getting concerned and thinking that we might made a bad decision. We took the package from the hotel and I keep reading that you guys got the Air transat package and it is a much better deal, could some of you send me the contact info so I can see if I can fix some of it ( for the air transat). Also can you share what are you doing with the rooms for your guests. Are they using the hotel rates or  are they are using other rates?.

I will reallly really appreciate guidance.

Thanks

I thought I had made the same mistake by taking the Air Transat package but it all will be beautiful.. All our guests booked through the travel agent, we needed at least 10 people for the Euphora package to get the wedding pricing ect.  So I would just check with your travel agent of view their brochure online.

As for Gonzalo, we had him for 10 hours wedding day and 6 hours for trash the dress

http://www.gonzalonunez.com/blog/  here is a link to his blog, and contact info.  He gets back to you really quickly and is very helpful.  Here's a couple shots from the preview he gave us.  I am very excited to see the final product.

All in all truly don't worry your day will be perfect.  I promise.

SAFETY ALERT AT THE GRAND SIRENIS

ASSAULT RISK FOR WOMEN AT THE GRAND SIRENIS

I am sorry to post this ladies as I find it hear-breaking. I am leaving to be married at the GS in 5 days and want to hear it as little as anyone else. Either way, I would rather be informed than ignorant to the dangers of our resort. Please read this blog of a recent traveler to the GS and use it to equip and protect yourself on your vacation.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
