Hey everyone :) I am just wondering if anyone has any information at all on Siesta Key. I have never been there, but from what pictures I have seen it looks beautiful. Our wedding date is September 3, 2010--I know, it's Hurricane season sad.gif but we have chosen that date because it is our 5th anniversary and I'm just hoping the hurricanes will stay away that day. Is there a location in Siesta Key that someone c ould recommend? Also, is there a good time of day in Septmeber that would be good for the ceremony--a time not so hot and sunny?? Recommendations on places to stay, people to work with, restaurants, etc. lol I'm just wanting someone to give me any info at all. Thanks!!

Hi!! My fiance and I are planning a May 2010 wedding in Siesta Key, also! We are in the early stages of planning and are actually going down there tomorrow to look at places for our reception and then attend a Sarasota Bridal Show on Sunday...

My fiance's mom works for the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce and we have been down there to visit quite a few times...if you have any questions, please feel free to ask...it is a BEAUTIFUL place!! Let me know when you decide on vendors...I could use the advice, also! Good Luck and keep in touch!

Hi - I lived in Siesta Key for many years....I now live near Tampa, FL. Feel free to IM me with specific questions if you like.... :) I'd be happy to answer them. Yes, this time of year is rainy/hurricane season (rains just about each and every day at some point and for different lengths of time) - as a matter of fact it's pouring down rain as I type this so I can definitely recommend a better time of year for you. BTW - Miami is about 4 hours south of Siesta Key.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
