Dbellie's Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar Wedding Planning Thread

Recommended Posts

Super excited itâ€s getting soooo close! We are getting hitched May 16, 2009 at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Our ceremony is at the garden gazebo at 4pm and the reception is at the Brazilian Steakhouse restaurant which will be private. Canâ€t wait for a Corona and that Mexican Sun :) So as we are all addicted to pics I wonâ€t hesitate in getting straight to them!

This is Dan and Me on Halloween and us as kids (my favâ€s) YABBA DABBA DOO!

Here are the save the dates we sent out. They had brochures containing the 3 hotel options for the guests, starfish with std tag, and std introduction letter. We sent these out to all our guests in a box with some crinkle paper – they loved it!

Our pre-wedding brochure we sent out to the guests with luggage tags a couple weeks before. It was created in Microsoft publisher and I have a thread on here containing the templates at bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t36122-10 . We also have welcome letters and pocket size itinerary booklets that we are handing out to guests in their OOT bag!

Our wedding guest book which is just book with HUGE pics of different seashells. I made the pens (which are sharpie markers- the only thing that doesnâ€t smudge on the bookâ€s pages and picture frame thing) to go with it! We used it for the wedding shower too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
