All of the RIU's are beautiful. I've been to the Cancun and to the Palace Las Americas (my fave).

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information. We are just waiting for our travel agent to get back to us with price quotes for Riu Caribe and Cancun. We should be able to make our decision in the next week or so, we will keep you posted.

Mrs. Martin: Was it difficult to rent out the club at Riu Cancun for your reception? How long did you rent it for? What did it cost?

No, it wasn't difficult to rent the club; we went through the WC to rent it out. I can't remember off the top of my head what we paid for it, but I believe I broke down the costs on my review thread because someone else had asked me about it. Check out the thread and the info should be somewhere in the first page.
