OK, today's DIY project is the door hangers for guest rooms... Each has the name(s) of the guests, and how we know them. My question - does this need something else

Cardstock: Stampin' Up Carribbean Cool
Pattern Paper: Crate Paper (Carnival Collection)
Ribbon: Misc.

And then for the poll here are the options:

Option 1:

Option 2:

Option 3:

Love the door hangers! I'm thinking about doing this too, but with a funny saying about do not disturb because they were out too late...

I think I'm missing something, what's the tag for?

      What a cute idea!
I voted #3 because I am not sure the tags are needed. I think they could be used for something else.

How big of a pain was it to cut all your hangers out?

With the tags - I just think they need something extra - so that's our logo on the tag...

FI is no help, so I came here for opinions.

Not a pain at all to do the actual hanger - it's the rest of it that is a pain in the butt. So much measuring and things.

I like #1 but I'd just use the tag for an OOT bag - I don't think you need it on the hanger.

Can you PM me your template and instructions?

Sorry, I don't have an actual template. I just used an 8x11.5 piece of paper - turned landscape, you can fit 3 to a page. I made mine 3 1/4" inches wide by 8 inches tall. For the cirlce for the part to go over the door knob, I used a 2" circle cutter that I have for scrapbooking. To make the rounded top, I again used a portion of a circle cutter for scrapbooking. Then I used a corner rounder on the bottom edges....

          Hope that helps some.

I love the hangers---- I dont' know if you were planning on somehow tying the round ones into the door hanger too, but when I saw them my first thought was 'how cool--- the doorhanger and then use the round ones as the tags for welcome bags.' Kind of ties the theme together.

I think the design is great! The only thing I'm iffy about is the checkerboard ribbon against the paisley background...

I love the hangers.. I vote to use the tag for something else. You should put your hanger instructions, ie exact paper stock used and where you got in the DIY section. Speaking for myself and other girls, I love the details! Thanks so much for the info given so far. Your creativity is a great inspiration to the rest of us wanna be DIYers!
