Hi- sorry for the delayed response. What I ended up doing ws sending a very frank email to Karla outilning my complaints and concerns going forward and that i would have to find someone else if i didn't hear back from her. Oftentimes, we just needed a reply that said "got your email & we're working on it" instead of nothing back. Needless to say, i heard back from her immediately, spoke with her on the phone, we both agreed to try again and move forward with increased communication. I chalked it up to miscommunication & that everyone needs a second chance, Ever since that, she has been woderful, completely on top of things, lightning speed, and very detailed. hope this helps.

In case anyone is still looking, I used Baja Weddings and I was very pleased with them!  They were prompt and very helpful...our wedding was a complete dream!

Thank you for your reply.. I was begining to think that I had the only terrible experience but sadly that's exactly how it happened to me... she was amazing and very quick in the first couple of weeks and then she would take two weeks to respond. I was SOOO frustrated. I wish you luck with your planning and thanks again for making me feel less insane!!

I completely understand a Bride's frustration when it comes to lack of communication from their Wedding Coordinator, especially when it is a destination wedding.  As I mentioned before, I hired Karla Casillas and if I had to do things all over again, I would not change a thing.  There were a few times that I felt communication could have been better, but after putting everything into perpective I had to understand that I was not her one and only wedding pending and most importantly, I trusted her with my big day and she completely delivered.  Lack of better communication and all, Karla is a well respected Wedding Planner in Cabo and is great at what she does.

I just returned from my March 2011 wedding in Cabo. We used Katie Thompson of Dazzle 'em and she was FANTASTIC. Seriously, the whole experience couldn't have been more fun or more perfect. Katie is very detail oriented and always responded to my questions within a couple of hours. She even gave me a heads up each time she was going out of town! I'm still waiting for pictures, which I will post once I receive them, but please feel free to contact me if you want more information.
