Arrgghhhhh might have to change dates!!

    So we have been planning for a wedding date of April 15 2010 at the Riu in Ocho Rios. I have just heard from my TA in Vancouver that prices for that week is about $400 more then the week after!! So now it looks like that we have to change our dates since we really don't want our guests to pay that much more! We might have to change it now to April 20/10 which kinda has a better ring to it.

    I found a TA who is wonderful but the prices seem a little high. I have a lot of guests from Edmonton and vancouver and prices are all over $2000 CDN a person! Im sure that prices for my guests in the States won't be that much though.

    Have any of you just had your guests kinda book on their own and how did that work out for you and the guests? It kinda seems that prices on the travel websites are way cheaper when I search for the dates in 2009...

    What do you ladies think??

      Hello Teresa~ All of my guests (only 12) booked their travel on their own. Everyone seemed to get a really good deal. A few even used their frequent flyer miles and are staying in their timeshares. Depending on the size of your group, I don't see why this would be a problem. I would give them the option to book on their own or your TA. Good Luck!

        Oh ok that sounds good! It kinda makes it a little challenging since there are guests coming from Canada and the US. The reason we had chosen to have a TA is that a lot of people were asking for payment plans.
