We are opting to do the sand ceremony. I think its beautiful and I love having a keepsake afterwards.

We are not doing it simply because our catholic wedding will last for an hour, and it already has many "ceremonies" in it: exchanging rings, receiving arrhaes from FI, receiving bible, rosarios and lasso from bridesmaids / bestmen, offering a bouquet to Virgin Mary, etc.

But it'll be nice for a civil wedding: make the magic moment longer and more personalized! So do they sell tinted sand in Cancun? It's kind of silly to bring the sand over from hometown, isn't it?
