Champagne

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone knows where to buy champagne and really good wine in Cabo. I have one guest that owns a wine store and I'd like to get them a really nice bottle down there to put in their room. Any suggestions?

Costco had a pretty good selection when I was down there for New Years...I'm guessing they have some wine stores also down there, I just don't know where

Hi.

There are some really good wine stores here, depending on waht kind of wine are you looking for.

La Europea

ECM de Mexico

Tutto Bene

The first two sell wine from almost all over the world and Tutto Bene is more southamerican wines, Argentina, Chile and some Mexican wine.

Some good wines are, Yellowtail from Aussie, Monte Xanic from Mexico...

You might be able to find some French, Spanish, Italian, South African and German wines also at La Europea.

Costco in Cabo has a good selection of champagne and wine...you can also bring a bottle with you since you are allowed up to 3 bottles of liquor each per customs.

Pretty soon in Cabo we will have our own winery... I don't know what the wine will be (I'm sure it will be good!) but I think is original for a present.

Not sure about the opening date.

Here's the contact info:

I was told that if you send a certain amount of booze, you have to pay custom fees and go through a customs broker...since champagne was much cheaper in the states I had a few of our guests bring the 3 bottle limit...we ended up having a total of 15 bottles...we had to pay a corkage fee, but it was still cheaper than purchasing it in Mexico and significantly less than what the resort was charging for the same brand.
