Chair covers and Sashes ROR

Recommended Posts

I'm not clear as to whether or not they charge extra for such things. I know I gave some items to Chandlyn for the dinner table and she never said anything.

Is there someone that could assist you with it? Maybe designate someone to help out? Perhaps Chandlyn would be willing to do it for nothing...good luck!

Thanks!!! So I found some local places I can bring my own. NOW I notice in pictures that the chairs have arms!!! AHHHH - I see some reception settings are a more narrow back armless chair and some are the wider back wooden with wicker chair. I even saw some plastic ones. Do you get a choice? If I bring my own covers I sure better make sure it fits!!

At the ROR they use wooden chairs with arms. What about just doing a sash of some sort and not the actual cover? I say this only because you have alot of guests coming and yes it's nice to have covers but is it really worth the cost, labour etc?!?! wink.gif OR You can always bring some flowers to put on the chairs..similar to putting them at the end of pews at a church?!?!

Just some ideas! There were only 6 of us and sure I alot of stuff to bring but you would have TONS ;-)

Your not kidding!!! I have about 300lbs worth of stuff so far! Doesn't help that my charter only allows 1 piece of luggage at 44lbs AND I have a 6 month old who needs to eat his food every day, and bring diapers, clothes for him AND they don't allow a piece of luggage for him!!!! Needless to say I am shipping all of his stuff, OOT bags, give away mugs, candles, candleholders for the OOT bags, centerpieces for 11 tables + head table...ugg....thank god for air canada cargo they are great prices!!

So, your ideas I've thought of too, do you think the sashes would look funny on the wood chairs by themselves thoughhuh.gif Gosh, I've just never seen it.

I do agree the flowers would be nice on the isle ends of the chairs, I may just have to do that and pay to just do the head table chair covers at the reception. I don't know. I'm so stressed!!!

Perhaps where you should start is by emailing Chandlyn and see what she says about the chair covers/sashes. Maybe she is willing to do it for nothing and maybe you could slip her a bit of a tip wink.gif

That is where I would start. Yes, it's your big day and it's important for you to have what you want the way you want it..but..if you are super stressed maybe this is one detail you can skip..is anyone going to really notice the chairs when the beautiful bride walks down the aisle?

That's just me though..nice & easy..simple simple...less stress wink.gif Let me know what you decide and I'll definetly be watching for your review when you return!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
