Ocean Turquesa & Coral Brides?

Recommended Posts

These are pictures of teh rooftop. It is on the opposite side of the teen and daisy club, there is no noise/ nor any design on it and I think it makes for a very nie location for the ceremony. If I was not getting married in a church I would have choosen this location.

I also like it because it allows to have the cocktail party in the same location if you want. You can use one side to have the ceremony and the other to set up a bar and appetizers if you want.

But I do agree that the lobby terrace is anoter great choice as well.

Happy Planning!

Hello Brides!  I'm 7 weeks from my wedding day at OCT!!!  So excited and I think I've got everything figured out (at least what I can before getting there).  One thing is stressing me out - my hair. Does anyone know how the salon at the resort is?  I want a big updo with flowers.....one that is soft yet wont get blown out of place if it's windy.

Hey!  Ana told me that the salon is very good and the brides always like there hair.  I'm so torn though.  I'm not sure if I should just do it with them or book with someone else....ugh meaning another day/vendor fee.  From other threads I've read online a lot of the girls say to take a tonne of photos with you showing exactly what you want.  I'm planning to get a trial done before I go down just to make sure my hair can actually do what I'm envisioning.

I would totally love to hear from other brides or even photographers who have seen what the hotel salon can do.

Hey Agy12! I will be getting married on the 20th, we will be there the same time! Are you having a large wedding?  I will be getting my hair and nails done there but I'm not getting anything crazy done I will just be wearing my hair down.  The brides on this forum all had great things to say about their hair, just bring pictures of what you want.

Hi JBandDJ, I can't believe our wedding dates are coming up so quickly! I'm getting a hair trial done at the resort a couple of days before our wedding, and crossing my fingers that I like it! I've also go a friend coming who's a stylist so hoping she can fix anything that I'm not crazy about! Otherwise, I haven't heard much about the stylists at the resort.

I'm planning on doing my own make up, and going for a trial at MAC before I go. Anyone else getting their make up done at the resort, or have had it done?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
