I definitely wish I was going with one of you guys(or lots of you!)!!
But I'm sure I will have a fantastic time regardless!! (as will all of you...although I know it's going to be hard without me there!! smile120.gif)
I have 29 guests booked, but I just found out from a friend that she cannot make it due to medical reasons (or possible med reasons). She has to cancel now in order to not to penalized...too bad it has to be so far away from the actual date!! She could be feeling better by then, but doesn't want to chance that she's not! Anyway...point being I will now have 28, but there are still some right on the fence! I only have 8 flying from TO...the rest are scattered; Edmonton, Ottawa & the majority out of Halifax (FI and I are both displaced Newfies!!).
Oh...what fun we will have looking at each others pics & reading each others reviews when we get back! When do you leave for Jamaica??
We're leaving Jan 17th and not returning till Feb 1.
I will have a review and try and figure out how to put pics on here.
It's too bad about your friend. Our deposits aren't due till Dec 1 so I am surprised she would get penalized if she waited.
Sounds like you have a pretty good group going though.

It turns out we're going to get a mini honeymoon anyway...we went to Bad Boy Furniture last evening to order our stuff for the new house & we got a free camcorder AND a 4 day/3 night Carribbean cruise!! We just pay $190 each for taxes!! WOOHOO!!!

I couldn't believe it...I didn't even know they had a promo going on!!! So needless to say I'm pretty excited!!!

I honestly don't know what is going on! I think it's just one of those things...overwhelmed etc. I don't have much to do. There are a few things I can't control like appointments etc. I think I just need a break!

Glass of wine & a nice bath is what I am looking for now!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
