You can totally heat-style it. When I had extensions a couple of years ago, I used a curling iron or straightener pretty much every day. Just be sure to keep the hot part away from the clip (or bond if it's a "real" extension) because it will melt. Once I melted a couple of my bonds together and it was a pain in the butt getting them apart! But if you stay away from your roots you'll be fine.

Okay, here is an update on the extensions I purchased. I bought the Euronext kind. They do not look good on me when they are 'down'. My hair stylist thinks it will be perfect for an updo but I can't look at myself when they are down. She did cut them and they are better but although they are real hair, they still look like barbie doll hair on me. It might be the color (very very blonde) but unfortunately, they are a no-go for the down-do (for me!).

That is a bummer frown.gif Oh well. It's great that you can wear them in an updo!

I ordered some from an ebay site about a week ago. Ihope they'll arrive by the end of the month.

I'm not planning on using them for the wedding though. More for fun on some days when I go out. I plan on (hope to) use them when my hair is down.

I'll post pics when they come in.

Island Princess-  I haven't ever bought on Ebay and now is not the time to expose my self to more shopping opportunities because I need every penny for wedding stuff .  Did you purchase a particular brand there that I can look for elsewhere? Does anyone in this thread have any experience with this supplier:  clip in hair extensions?  The only ones that I have seen locally are super pricey or super tacky.  If anyone has a link to share where the prices are good, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
