    Abby,

You have NO IDEA how much better I feel now have seen the actual wedding locations. I had so many things riding on that and now I can make more decisions. If you have pics of the beach location can you post them too?

    Thanks again!

    Shannon

Wow! Thanks for the update. I can't believe how much work is still needed... We're staying there in a month, I hope there's water in the pools. Thanks again!

We were very surprised to see how unfinished Sensatori was. When we originally got in the car, they had hard hats for us to wear. (I was thinking to myself, where are in the process of completing the hotel) But I think (this is our guess) that it will open on November 1st, but may not everything finished.

I didn't get a picture of the beach ceremony option. I don't think it was built yet, but most of the sites for the beach look similiar at all resorts. When we stayed at Azul Beach the arch was permanantly there right in the middle of the beach strip. But don't know for Sensatori where it was located.

We are waiting to book at Azul Sensatori. We are trying to confirm a date in November. Waiting to hear back from the TA. Waiting and waiting....

We are going to get married at the SkyDeck and then want to do the reception in the big round part in the middle of the hotel. Carolina said that we could hang lanterns up (the circle is surrounded by palm trees and i think the lanterns will be strung from the trees) that would cross the reception site. And we are planning to do roundtables on the perimeter of the circle and the dance floor in the middle. We felt this was the most intimate way to set it up. Not great b/c in the middle of the hotel, but the spot at Zocalo was only on the perimeter of the restaurant, and the dance floor would be at the end. (not enough of an intimate feel for us)

Carolina is great! Her office is currently at Azul Beach so we could ask her questions each day we were there. She is moving her office to Sensatori when it is built. And yes, she and Gilberto will be assigned to Sensatori. She said they already have 175 weddings booked between Sensatori and Fives! (Crazy)

I think that's about it, let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you so much for all of your work! Did they happen to show you alternative ceremony sites in case of rain? also wondering if you have any pics of the restaurant which is the option with the free wedding reception? Thanks again.

Has the hotel released any information on how many people can be accomodated at each of their potential receception sites?

They did show us the meeting space that is just off the lobby. But it wasn't finished yet (mostly concrete) And so we didn't take pictures of it.

The restaurants were a little more done. But still hard to tell the personality of the restaurants

I think this is Spoon b/c of the open kitchen.

The rest we didn' t take pics of b/c they weren't close to finishing it and hard to tell what it's going to look like.

Carolina didn't know exactly the number of guests that is allowed at each ceremony site (besides 80 for the Sky deck). They were still determining those things.
