Info about Caribbean Blue Weddings

Recommended Posts

Hi Magda, I just had my small wedding coordinated by Irene of CBW and really loved her work! I just got my pictures so I'm getting ready to post my review on this forum, but in the meantime I have my review posted in the testimonials section of their website under "Susan and Jose Married May 30, 2008" if you'd like to read it. We had a catholic wedding at the gorgeous chapel on 5th Street and loved every minute! We also stayed at Hotel La Tortuga, which had originally put me in touch with CBW (they are the hotel's wedding planners too). I recommend staying there if you want a nice place, great service, and non-inclusive environment. I'll be posting my review by next week sometime, so watch out for it!

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

Congrats and good luck!

Susan

I read your testimonials and now I am happy I chose the Caribbean Blue Wedding. They really seem to be the profesionals.

First I was a little bit doubtful but only because of the fact that we are from Poland and I thought that there would be a language barrier but after two e-mails I have no doubt any more.

I hope everything will be as perfect as your wedding :-)

Thank you for your respond.

I am looking forward to seeing your pictures and to reading your wedding story.

We used Irene as well for our wedding May 10, 2008. She did a great job. The semi-private beach she took us to was absolutely beautiful. The girls she recommended for hair and make-up were both better than I could've imagined. The pictures and video came out great!! The DJ she recommended was NOT good. This was the only thing we had a problem with. When we complained about the music, Irene told us that this is what was played in MX. Not true!! Bring your own ipod! Overall, we were very happy with our wedding celebration. We stayed at Alhambra Hotel (next door to Maramao Beach where we had our reception) and we LOVED the hotel.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
